Spring in Bloom Nuno Felting Workshop – April 2025

Step into spring with a hands-on nuno felting workshop, where you’ll create stunning floral scenes bursting with daffodils, tulips, muscari, and catkins. Using the finest merino wool and silk, you’ll learn to blend color and texture to bring your vision to life. Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike—come and let your creativity bloom!

I will demonstrate and guide you throughout the day to inspire you to make your personal piece. You will be taught through demonstration how to wet-felt the fibres into silk fabric before using some simple embroidery to complete as desired.

These classes are held at my home in Bridport with fabulous views overlooking the countryside. I only host small classes so all can learn and achieve.

We will use a selection of different colour combinations to suit you.

What is included:
All tools and materials are provided. Feel free to bring any of your own images for inspiration or work from the images provided.
Please bring your packed lunch and an apron. Tea and coffee is available throughout the day.

Who is it suitable for:
Ideal for beginners or those that are looking to improve their skills.

Outline of the day:
10:00am – Welcome refreshments and meet & greet. Introduction to the tools, materials and day plan, your inspirational choices.
10:30am – Making – demonstration of floral techniques with 1 to 1 input.
12.30pm – Lunch break.
1.15pm – Continue and demonstration, of embroidery stitches.
2.45pm – Refreshment break with cake.
3.30pm – The finalising of your work, show and tell photos to share your lovely artpiece.

To ensure the quality of your workshop experience, my group size will be no more than 5.
